More old packaging

This is my favorite cool old package yet. Love the type and the minimal graphics.

This is the best use of lenticular printing I have ever seen.

Today's example of cool old packaging. Again, very simple but great use of nice fonts...although the "S" is a bit hard to read. I initially thought it was "Blick". Simple, cool graphics. Made in Rockford, IL. woot woot!

Grand old packaging

My husband has a business restoring, repairing, and rebuilding old magnetos for tractors, motorcycles, cars and such. He regularly gets original parts in their original boxes to use on them. I am fascinated by these packages, for a number of reasons. First, I think it is absolutely amazing that these boxes have even survived! Some are from the 1920's...nearly 100 year old cardboard that sat around in someone's dusty, dirty shop all that time! Second, I just adore the graphics on them. Look at that sweet sweet lettering and the simple yet engaging lightning bolt graphics! I will continue to share more of these treasures, as I believe if they've survived as long as they have...they deserve some time in the spotlight!

Still working on portfolio pieces! Here is a series of labels for a fictional frozen yogurt brand that I created.
